The Big Apple Film and Television Tour

Day 1: Home - New York

This morning, depart on your flight to the “Big Apple”. Upon arrival, enjoy a short panoramic tour of Manhattan. Settle in to your hotel, and expore Times Square at night!

Day 2: New York (B, D)

Today you will enjoy a movie tour followed by an afternoon interactive film and television workshop. This evening, enjoy your first Broadway show. Afterwards, take some more time to explore the activity of Times Square.

Day 3: New York

This morning you will head to Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan Island to catch a ferry for the short ride to the Statue of Liberty National Monument. Then board another ferry for Ellis Island which was the nation’s main point of entry into the United States for millions of immigrants from 1892-1924. Return to lower Manhattan by ferry, grab a quick lunch and then make your way to Ground Zero, site of the former World Trade Center and the Financial District. A few blocks west from Ground Zero is the site of the world famous Brooklyn Bridge, South Street Seaport, and China Town. This evening, visit the Empire State Building and its Observatory. The New York skyride is an optional visit.

Day 4: New York (B)

After breakfast, make your way to Greenwich Village and SoHo. This afternoon, visit the New York Film Academy - School of Film and Acting followed by a stop at New York University Tisch School of Arts to see the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television Department. The evening is free for you to shop at Macy's and enjoy the energy of the Big Apple.

Day 5: New York (B, D)

The day begins with breakfast at a local restaurant before heading off to the cultural world known as Lincoln Center. Your knowledgeable guide will provide you with a tour of the spectacular facility featuring the New York State Theatre, Avery Fisher Hall, and the Metropolitan Opera House. Enjoy a relaxing lunch in Central Park before an afternoon workshop of your choice related to this evening's Broadway show.

Day 6: New York (B)

This morning you will take part in a cultural walking tour of Harlem. In the afternoon, explore the sights of Rockefeller Center including the NBC Studio Gift Shop and Radio City Music Hall and 5th Avenue, home to Trump Tower, St Patricks Cathedral, and FAO Schwartz. Tonight, discover the artistic gem of an Off-Broadway show or shop Canal Street and Little Italy.

Day 7: New York - Home (B)

After breakfast this morning and after checking out of your hotel, board your coach for your transfer to the airport for your flight home.
