This afternoon, your coach will transfer you to the Rijksmuseum for your visit to this splendid red turreted building built in 1885. The Rijksmuseum is home to the world’s best collection of Dutch paintings from the 13th to the 19th century, the most famous being Rembrandt.

Day 3: Amsterdam - Volendam (B, D)

This morning is free for you to explore Amsterdam on your own. Included is a visit to the Anne Frank’s House, immortalized by the poignant diary kept by the young Jewish girl from 1942 - 1944 when she and her family hid from the German occupying forces. This afternoon, board your coach for your visit to the Dutch village of Volendam. In this quaint hamlet, you can learn how cheese and wooden clogs are made in the traditional Dutch technique.

Day 4: Amsterdam - Paris (B, D)

This morning your coach will pick you up after breakfast for your journey to Paris. En route, relax and enjoy the scenery of quaint towns and historical buildings. You will stop in Brussels for lunch and be taken on an orientation sightseeing tour. It is then on to Paris! When you arrive in Paris, you will be transferred to the hotel, and will enjoy panoramic sightseeing of the city en route. This evening you may wish to ascend the Eiffel Tower for a breathtaking night time view of the city.

Day 5: Paris (B)

Today after breakfast, greet your guide for your half day tour of this lively city. Meander down the Champs Elysee towards the Arc De Triomphe. Then see the magnificent gilded Dome Church where Napoleon’s tomb rests as it has for years. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral and then have lunch and explore on your own the vibrant streets of this historic city. Your coach will be available for additional touring at your request.

Wake early this morning for pickup from the hotel for your transfer to Lucerne. When you arrive, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour en route to your hotel.

Day 7: Lucerne (B)

Today is a free day. A great suggestion is to take the Pilatus excursion.

Day 8: Lucerne - Nice (D)

This morning you awaken early for your coach transfer to Nice. Nice, an expansive city on the Mediterranean, is one of the delights of the Riviera. The streets of Old Town are cobbled and so narrow that they crowd out the sky. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day you may wish to relax or venture out to explore the city.

Day 9: Nice (B, D)

After breakfast, board your coach for a full day of guided sightseeing. You will travel mountain roads to Eze, a strange isolated hill village perched on a rocky peak that was once occupied by Ligurians and Phoenicians. Make your way to the exotic garden for fabulous views up and down the coast of this picturesque village. Then you will continue on to the Principality of Monaco. Covering just 473 acres, it is so tiny that residents have to go to another country to play golf. See the Old Town, the Cathedral, Prince Rainier's Palace and gardens in fabulous Monte Carlo, playground of the rich and famous.

Day 10: Nice (B)

Board your private coach this morning for another day of sightseeing along mountain roads to view the spectacular Gorges du Loup and the old city of Grasse. In the 16th century, when scented gloves became fashionable, the town began cultivating flowers and distilling essences and today, three quarters of the world's essences are made here.
